Solid construction, a flat shape and minimalist modern design. The openAir retractable roof combines aesthetics and function, weather resistance and ease of use — whether the sun is shining or heavy rain is falling. Its modular design makes the system especially attractive, including for hospitality applications: each module has its own roof with double-layer fabric and automatic control.
Flat shape and clean, timeless lines.
Powder-coated aluminium, robust and durable.
Electric motor operation at the touch of a button.
Wind-resistant construction with an integrated drainage system.
With its wall connection to the façade, the openAir retractable roof blends discreetly into the architecture — shown here on a stone villa with a pool.
Two versions meet every spatial design requirement — as a freestanding structure or with a wall connection to the façade.
In addition to the retractable roof fabric, laminated safety glass and polycarbonate are available for fixed roof sections.
The perfect solution for anyone wishing to use a terrace or balcony all year round. The powder-coated aluminium frame withstands winds of up to 120 km/h, while the electric motor ensures easy operation. With LED spotlights or LED strips, the openAir retractable roof creates a cosy atmosphere that invites you to stay.
The openAir retractable roof consists of two fabric layers for optimal shading and ventilation. The fabric is water-repellent and UV-resistant, ensuring a long service life. Installation is simple and fast, while the modular connection option allows seamless integration into existing systems.
Cream white, grey aluminium and anthracite are available as standard colours. Any other RAL colour is available for a surcharge.
The two-colour fabric can be combined in many ways — the following versions are available (upper / lower side).
An advanced, patented drainage system is designed around the roof’s special construction. It noticeably reduces splashing droplets — and therefore their penetration beneath the roof. Water is channelled away in a controlled manner through the frame and posts.
Equip the openAir retractable roof with a vertical awning or shutters. Both protect against low sun and prying eyes, making the terrace usable even on windy evenings.
Integrated, wind-resistant vertical awnings (WAREMA ZIP Screen).
Integrated LED spot and strip lighting for atmospheric evenings.
WAREMA radiant heaters extend use into the cooler season.
Rain, wind and snow sensors for safe automatic operation.
